Play was approached by Zoo Atlanta to create the way-finding system within the park. Upon our discovery phase, we realized their logo did not reflect the signage and cultural references represented within the park. Through a simple update to the logo, we replaced kid friendly shapes with geometric shapes and introduced a few more elements into the logo. This change now allows the brand to live seamlessly within the park and powers the look of their marketing campaigns. Play refreshed the brand, produced a brand style guide which Zoo Atlanta applied to create the collateral seen below, illustrated way-finding and maps within the park, designed and implemented the zoo’s website and helped to create unique events like Brew at the Zoo.
